Barcelona and Atletico Madrid ‘battle to sign Bournemouth star’ with Premier League side also set to lose Antoine Semenyo

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are battling to land Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi, according to reports in Spain.
Senesi is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of the Premier League from January as his Bournemouth deal expires in the summer.
The Argentine, 28, is expected to leave the Cherries having rejected several offers to stay at the club.
Mundo Deportivo reports Atletico have joined Barcelona in the race for his signature as they look to reinforce their respective backlines.
Barcelona have also been linked with Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi, another star who is out of contract in June 2026.
Argentina international Senesi has become a key member of Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth side, making 17 appearances for the club this season.
Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi is reportedly a target for both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid
The Cherries are also set to lose Antoine Semenyo with Man City likely to win the race to sign the winger.
Semenyo is available for £65million in the January window, although his release clause expires in the second week of the month.
Manchester United and Chelsea were also interested but Semenyo prefers a move to Pep Guardiola’s side.
