Browns star Myles Garrett caught ‘driving his Ferrari at 100mph’ weeks after Shedeur Sanders’ speeding shame

Browns star Myles Garrett was reportedly caught by cops driving his Ferrari at 100mph – just hours after Cleveland’s first preseason game on Friday.

The defensive superstar, who recently signed a new $160million deal, was reportedly stopped not far from where teammate Shedeur Sanders was cited for going 101mph earlier this offseason.

WKYC reports that Garrett was pulled over by police, who allege that he was doing 100mph in a 60mph zone on an interstate just outside Cleveland.

The 29-year-old was stopped while driving a gray Ferrari at 2:06am and given a ticket by cops. He is due to appear in court on Thursday – unless he pays the fine.

It is not the first time that Garrett has run into trouble on the roads. Back in September 2022, he was driving a Porsche that came off the road rolled over several times. Both the NFL star and a female passenger were injured.

The Browns star, a former NFL Defensive Player of the Year, was cited for failing to control his vehicle.

He has also been caught speeding on a number of occasions over recent years. The 29-year-old did not play in the Browns’ preseason win over the Panthers.

But this run-in with the cops came in the aftermath of Cleveland’s 30-10 victory in Charlotte, when Sanders made his debut at quarterback.

Back in June, the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders was twice caught speeding in the space of a couple of weeks. Shedeur was ticketed for driving 91mph in a 65mph zone and 101mph in a 60mph zone.

Browns GM Andrew Berry branded Sanders’ actions ‘not smart,’ telling reporters: ‘It’s something that we’ve addressed with him. He understands the implications, he understands the consequences. It’s not just about yourself.

‘It’s not just about having a joyride, but that you could injure other people… a deer or something cuts in front of you, your reaction time, it’s just dangerous.’

The Daily Mail has contacted the Browns and Garrett’s representatives for comment.
