Celtic chiefs hold London talks with potential new managers as club seek to fill void during international break

Celtic have held talks with a number of managerial candidates in London as they continue their search for Brendan Rodgers’ successor.
Hopeful of having a new face in the dug-out for the trip to St Mirren on November 22, key members of the hierarchy are in the process of conducting a series of interviews.
Columbus Crewe’s French manager Wilfried Nancy is the current favourite having lit up the MLS with an attacking brand of football.
Kjetil Knutsen, a four-time title winner with Bodo/Glimt, is also a wanted man as he enters the final few weeks of his contact in Norway.
Kieran McKenna has attracted attention after taking Ipswich Town to successive promotions.
Robbie Keane, who played with Celtic in 2010, is also a name under consideration after winning successive titles with Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ferencvaros.

It’s understood that Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney, the current interim management team, have also spoken to key figures about what the future holds.
O’Neill sounded keen initially to lead the team in next month’s League Cup Final against St Mirren but seemed to take a backwards step at the weekend when he said he didn’t know if he’d accept any offer to extend the arrangement.
Rodgers was due to leave at the end of the season only to resign in the wake of a defeat to Hearts which left Celtic floundering in the title race.
