Commanders give major update on Jayden Daniels’ health after QB’s sickening dislocated elbow

There is good news for Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

After dislocating his non-throwing elbow in a gruesome scene during last week’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the second-year star will not be placed on Injured Reserve, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s John Keim.

As reported by Rapoport, there is no ligament damage and Daniels will not need surgery. Keim is reporting Daniels is ‘a little sore’ but is otherwise feeling well.

It’s still unclear when, exactly, Daniels will return to the field, but considering the initial outlook, Friday’s news is certainly optimistic for a 3-6 team struggling to revive its playoff hopes.
