Controversial change to UNO set to spark family feuds and break ups around the world: ‘I’m already mad’

Much to the glee of cheeky gamers everywhere, UNO’s latest twist is a bluffer’s paradise.
Set to spark all manner of family feuds and good-natured bust-ups, ‘Liar’s UNO’ is now stirring up mischief following its launch in Big W stores across Australia.
This brazen take on the classic game invites players to fib their way to victory, courtesy of cunning new Liar’s Cards.
Placed face-down, player’s are required to announce what the card is (truthfully or not).
If another player calls their bluff, they must draw a card. If they were telling the truth, the accuser pays the penalty.
Packed with devious surprises, this remake puts strategy and sharp instincts front and centre.
Forget playing it safe: in Liar’s UNO, a convincing lie might just trump your best move.
‘It’s UNO like you’ve never played before, where a good lie can be just as powerful as the perfect card,’ Tim Nolan, Senior Director, Asia Regional Marketing at Mattel APAC, said.

It’s not the first update that’s sparked debate either, with the ‘All Wild’ deck drawing a similar response from fans
And there’s more to love: the cards now feature graphic symbols for every colour, making play easy for those with any level of colour blindness.
It’s not the first update that’s sparked debate either, with the ‘All Wild’ deck drawing a similar response from fans.
Dubbed ‘the most chaotic card game ever’ by customers, the All Wild game introduced five new Wild cards: the Wild Target +2, the Wild Swap Hands, the Wild Double Skip, the Wild Skip, and the Wild Reverse.
With every card an action card, gameplay is lightning-fast and delightfully unpredictable – much like our temperaments the minute we begin playing.
