Egypt and Germany stress the reactivation of the Berlin process to support the political solution in Libya

Egypt and Germany stressed the importance of re-advancing the Berlin process as a comprehensive international framework for coordinating efforts aimed at supporting the political process in Libya.
This came during the reception of Ambassador Wael Hamed, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs, and Ambassador Basil Salah, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, with Christian Bock, Director General of Political Affairs in the Near, Middle East and Africa at the German Foreign Ministry, the developments of the situation in Libya and ways to support efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

The two sides stressed during the consultations the need to strengthen coordination between regional and international parties to unify positions in support of stability in Libya.
