Egyptian Ambassador to Doha: Members of the Egyptian community in Qatar flocked to the voting committees in the House of Representatives elections
Ambassador Walid Fahmy Al-Feki, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Qatar, confirmed that members of the Egyptian community in Doha have been arriving since the first hours of the opening of the ballot boxes to participate in the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, in a scene that reflects their clear keenness to perform their constitutional duty in this important electoral entitlement.
Ambassador Al-Feki said – in a statement to the Middle East News Agency today, Friday, while monitoring the progress of The electoral process at the Egyptian Embassy Committee in Doha – The members of the community came to perform a national duty of choosing their representatives in the House of Representatives, praising the sense of patriotism and political awareness enjoyed by Egyptians residing in Qatar, and their constant keenness to communicate with their motherland.
He pointed out that the electoral process was going very smoothly inside the mission headquarters, amid an atmosphere dominated by a sense of belonging and celebration, pointing out that the presence of children who accompanied their voting relatives added to an atmosphere of joy. He added that the embassy has taken all organizational and logistical measures to ensure that the electoral process runs efficiently, including preparing clear entry and exit paths for voters, and providing follow-up teams to receive voters and answer their inquiries, which contributes to facilitating the voting process and ensuring its flow without any obstacles.
