Egyptians flock to Bahrain to participate in the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections

Today, the Egyptian Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed an increasing influx of members of the Egyptian community, to participate in the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections and to cast their votes at polling stations designated for Egyptians abroad. The diplomatic mission took all organizational measures to ensure the ease and smoothness of the electoral process, amid an atmosphere of commitment and national concern.

 

The second phase of the House of Representatives elections will be held abroad over the course of Friday and Saturday, corresponding to the 21st and 22nd of November, inside 139 Egyptian embassies and consulates in 117 countries, while voting at home begins on the 24th and 25th of this November, with the official result being announced on the 2nd of next December. In the event of a need for a runoff round, voting will take place abroad on the 15th and 16th of next December, and at home on the 17th and 18th of the same month, with the result of the runoff being announced on the 25th of next December.

The committees supervising the polling, counting, and counting of votes shall be formed from a sufficient number of members of the diplomatic and consular corps, and they will be assisted by one or more principal secretaries working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who shall be subject to a decision from the National Elections Commission.
