It’s full steam ahead for the the third season of HBO’s buzzy series Euphoria, with the most recent update coming in the form of an action-packed teaser trailer ahead of its 2026 release.

A lot has happened in the time since season two dropped, from rumours of it being cancelled to some tragic cast deaths, so here’s the full rundown on all there is to know about Euphoria season three.
Is there a Euphoria season three trailer?
We haven’t got a full trailer just yet, but HBO did drop a glitzy, albeit super short, teaser in mid-December. In it, we are reunited with Rue (Zendaya) a few years after graduating high school. We also get a glimpse of the remaining ensemble cast, with the juicy promise that “adulthood is wild”.
At around the same time, HBO also released some first-look images of the season three cast, including the core gang of Nate, Maddie, Cassie, Lexi and Jules. From the looks of things, each character is just as watchable as ever. Feast your eyes below!

After multiple delays, Euphoria finally announced its season three release date in early-December. Mark your calanders, we’ll be heading back to school (or rather, a few years post-school) on April 3, 2026.
What is the plot of Euphoria season 3?
Specific plot details for Euphoria season three remain scarce, but we do know that it flashes-forward a few years after the events of season two. Beyond that, series creator Sam Levinson has said the season is “film noir” themed and will “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world”. So take from that what you will.
Who is in the cast of Euphoria season 3?
Excluding Barbie Ferreira, who dropped out after season two, and Angus Cloud, who tragically passed away in 2023, the cast for season three of Euphoria will include a bunch of familiar faces.
Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Dominic Fike, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Maude Apatow and Colman Domingo are all returning for the new season season, as well as newcomers in the form of Sharon Stone, Natasha Lyonne and… Trisha Paytas?
