
A 13-year-old girl has gone missing without a trace from the Illawarra Region of NSW, prompting concerns for her welfare among family and police.
Ameriah Stonham was last seen on Cleveland Road in Dapto, south-west of Wollongong, about 8.30am on Wednesday.
Lake Illawarra Police District commenced inquiries into her whereabouts on Wednesday afternoon after being notified she could not be located or contacted.
Her family and police are concerned for her welfare due to her age and medical conditions.
Police shared an image of Ameriah, whom they described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm tall and of thin build with shoulder-length ash-blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, light-blue denim shorts, white shoes and carrying a brown diamond-shaped purse.
She is known to frequent the Dapto, Wollongong and Sydney CBD areas, police said.
