Federation of Chambers of Tourism: The global presence at the opening of the Grand Museum reflects the world’s appreciation for Egypt and its cultural leadership

The Federation of Egyptian Tourism Chambers welcomed the participation of kings, princes, heads of state and governments from various continents of the world in the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, today, Saturday, which was witnessed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, considering that this high-level attendance, which includes 79 official delegations, including 39 headed by kings, presidents and princes, is an affirmation of the prestigious position that Egypt enjoys in the hearts of peoples and governments around the world, and an embodiment of the international community’s appreciation for its civilization. Hossam Al-Shaer, President of the Federation, confirmed in a statement today, Saturday, that this exceptional event represents a defining moment in the history of Egyptian tourism and culture, and reflects the state’s vision of combining the nobility of the past, the creativity of the present, and the prosperity of the future, noting that the opening of the largest museum in the world dedicated to one civilization is the culmination of a national journey. Inspirational leadership led by President Sisi, and consolidating Egypt’s position as an influential civilizational and tourism power on the global level.
Al-Shaer said This unprecedented international momentum sends a message of peace and confidence from the world in Egypt, and strengthens its position as a preferred destination for lovers of history, culture, and humanity, explaining that the Grand Egyptian Museum will be a global beacon for cultural tourism, and a major driver for increasing the number of tourists and raising rates. Their spending, which reflects positively on the national economy and creates new and sustainable job opportunities.
He pointed out that the opening of the museum comes in line with the comprehensive renaissance in infrastructure and the areas surrounding archaeological and tourist sites, and the development of the transportation system and tourism services, which places Egypt in a leading position among the most attractive destinations on the global tourism map for the year 2026.
