Liverpool pull the plug on Robertson sale

Despite talks over a £5m move to Tottenham, Liverpool have decided it is not in their interests to let him go at this juncture.

Chelsea bring back Anselmino as defensive cover 

Chelsea have recalled Anselmino from his loan at Borussia Dortmund.

The 20-year-old had made 10 appearances on loan with the Bundesliga side. Chelsea remain eager to add a centre back this window but talks with Rennes for Jeremy Jacquet, also 20, are proving difficult as anticipated.

The French side are reluctant to lose him this month.

Sunderland in for Monchengladbach keeper 

Sunderland have enquired about Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Jonas Omlin.

It comes as Millwall are in talks with Sunderland to sign goalkeeper Anthony Patterson on loan.

The 25-year-old has been told he’s allowed to leave once Sunderland line up a replacement.

Flamengo won’t give up on Paqueta 

Flamengo are continuing negotiations with West Ham over a deal for playmaker Lucas Paqueta. 

West Ham have maintained so far they are willing to sell if the 28-year-old can be loaned back for the season.

They rejected a bid worth just over £35m including add-ons last week but Flamengo have returned with a restructured offer today which is around the same total.

Talks are ongoing.

Lazio yet to contact Everton for Iroegbunam 
 

Everton have yet to receive contact from Lazio for midfielder Tim Iroegbunam.

The Italian side are interested in the 22-year-old, who joined Everton from Aston Villa, but David Moyes is in no rush to sell with a threadbare squad being stretched lately through injuries. 

Gunners eye up Los Blancos left-back 

Arsenal hold an interest in Real Madrid left-back Victor Valdepenas. The 19-year-old could become a target in the coming days but if figures are too high, Arsenal will look at a summer move.

Bayern keep tabs on Chelsea defender

Bayern Munich are monitoring developments with Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong.

Fulham table £28m bid for Ricardo Pepi 

Fulham have made a revised £28m offer for PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi. The Dutch side have been holding out for £35m for the USA international who is out with a fractured forearm.

Fulham boss Marco Silva says that Adama Traore is leaving the club as talks continue over the winger’s move to West Ham.

West Ham midfielder Guido Rodriguez has had his contract cancelled and is joining Valencia.

Forest join race for Mateta

Nottingham Forest have joined the growing list of clubs showing interest in Jean-Philippe Mateta’s situation at Crystal Palace.

Forest have signed Lorenzo Lucca on loan from Napoli but with Chris Wood out for the season, still want another forward plus better options down their left flank.

Black Cats’ Masuaku links up with Lens 

Sunderland defender Arthur Masuaku has agreed to join Lens on loan until the end of the season.

Middlesbrough’s Dutch forward Delano Burgzorg is attracting interest from Bristol City.

Boro are closing on a £4m deal for Brighton winger Jeremy Sarmiento.
