Giza Governorate announces that the Water and Wastewater Company has reported a sudden break in a main water line with a diameter of 300 mm on Al-Haram Street at the corner of Farid Al-Sibai Street.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, has assigned the Water and Wastewater Company to quickly move to the site of the break, begin immediate repair work, and coordinate with the General Administration of Traffic in Giza and the Talbiya district, to implement the necessary traffic diversions. And facilitating the movement of vehicles in the area until the work is completed.
He pointed out that the Water and Sanitation Company temporarily cut off the water from the corner of Kafr Tahras Street to Diaa Street and the surrounding branches, until the repair work is completed and water pumping returns normally. The Governor of Giza stressed the speedy completion of repair work and the return of water pumping to the affected areas as soon as possible, directing the follow-up of the situation on the ground and permanent coordination between the concerned authorities to ensure the rapid return of service to citizens in a safe and regular manner.
