
Giza Governorate announced that 26th of July Street will be completely closed in the direction coming from the 15th of May Bridge towards Lebanon Square for a period of 3 days, starting tomorrow morning, Friday, until Sunday morning, in order to carry out metal formwork for 12 metal towers within the Nile Valley monorail station, within the Nile Valley Line monorail project – October 6.
The governorate explained that the work will take place daily from 12 am until 6 am.
The General Administration of Giza Traffic has set traffic diversions to facilitate movement and prevent congestion, the first of which is: vehicles coming from the May 15 Bridge and wishing to continue walking towards Lebanon Square, go right to Salah Jaheen Street, then left to Dr. Hegazy Street, then left towards Wadi El Nil Street. Reaching 26th of July Street after passing the business district.
The second diversion includes entering right onto Salah Jaheen Street, then right onto Ahmed Orabi Street, then right towards Arab League Street, arriving at Sudan Street and Lebanon Square after passing the business district.
The Giza Governorate indicated that coordination was made with the implementing company to place the advisory and warning signs. And floodlights and light mills, with traffic services appointed to direct vehicle movement, confirming that traffic movement in the opposite direction from 26th of July Street is operating normally without any impact.
