Timothee Chalamet barely acknowledged girlfriend Kylie Jenner while earning a top honor for Marty Supreme (directed by Josh Safdie) at the Golden Globe Awards 2026.
The 30-year-old actor earned Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy and ended his speech abruptly by saying: ‘To my parents and partner, I love you. Thank you so much.’
It was a much more muted acknowledgement for Jenner, 28, as he boldly declared her love for her at last week’s Critics Choice Awards 2026.
Chalamet beat out an impressive field led by Leonardo DiCaprio for One Battle After Another as the field also featured: George Clooney – Jay Kelly, Ethan Hawke – Blue Moon, Lee Byung-Hun – No Other Choice, Jesse Plemons – Bugonia.
He did graciously thank his fellow nominees during his acceptance speech as he said: ‘Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. I am in a category with many greats. I look up to all of you, this category is stacked. Thank you.’
In the film, Chalamet portrays Marty Mauser – a young man with a dream of ping-pong stardom that no one respects, but he goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.

The talented actor also ended his speech with a shout-out to his beloved Liverpool FC, telling the audience ‘You’ll never walk alone,’ which is the anthem for the iconic football club.
Cooper was not the youngest winner of all-time as Ricky Schroder won now-defunct category New Star Of The Year for his role in the 1979 film the Champ.
