"Good Egypt" Launches a program to train students in programming and artificial intelligence

The Scientific Research and Innovation Sector at the Misr El Kheir Foundation announced  In cooperation with inDrive, we announced the launch of an awareness and training program aimed at teaching the children of inDrive captains and community school students in Fayoum and Sohag governorates and various other governorates basic skills in programming and artificial intelligence.    

 

Dr. Nagwa Al-Sayed, Head of the Scientific Research and Innovation Sector at the Misr Al-Kheir Foundation, said that the program aims to train 300 students and 30 facilitators from teachers, with the aim of giving them basic digital skills including Scratch, Python, and artificial intelligence tools, in addition to training them in logical thinking, problem solving, and designing digital products.  

 

She added:" This initiative is of particular importance because it targets students in the age group (9 – 16 years), as instilling programming skills and entrepreneurship principles at this early stage constitutes the basis for building a creative generation capable of innovative thinking and transforming their ideas into practical solutions that contribute to economic development.

 

 

She indicated that the cooperation includes training facilitators among teachers in community schools, in a way that ensures the sustainability of knowledge transfer within Local communities in Sohag and Fayoum governorates. The program also features the integration of digital education and entrepreneurship using active and applied learning methods, where students are trained on how to transform their digital and programming skills into small projects and applicable ideas.

 

She explained that the program will conclude with a final exhibition to showcase the projects developed by students throughout the program’s four-month journey, with the participation of experts from the technology community, giving them an opportunity to communicate and engage in an environment Innovation.

 

She stressed that the project contributes to achieving the sustainable development goals of the United Nations, especially in the areas of: quality education, gender equality, decent work, economic growth, and reducing inequalities. This cooperation also reflects InDrive’s vision in enhancing its social responsibility and its role in empowering young people in the most needy communities, by opening new horizons for them in the digital economy.

 

She indicated that the cooperation between InDrive and the Foundation Misr El Kheir – Through the scientific research and innovation sector – It represents an opportunity to strengthen its presence in Upper Egypt, and build a strong image as a strategic partner in supporting education and innovation. It also gives InDrive an opportunity to participate directly through volunteering, mentorship, and arbitration committees, which increases its societal integration, and adds value to the brand by investing in the future generation and linking the company’s name to innovation and sustainable development. This cooperation opens the way for the company to support distinguished students later through grants and incubation opportunities, thus enhancing its reputation as an incubator for innovation and entrepreneurship.  

 

She said that the program was designed to achieve a long-term impact by opening the way for distinguished students to participate in local and international competitions and advanced training opportunities in programming and artificial intelligence, in addition to localizing technical knowledge in the target communities by providing distinguished and high-quality training for facilitators (female teachers).

 inDrive introduced a new loyalty program that gives the children of drivers the opportunity to obtain qualitative training in basic skills, including courses in Programming and artificial intelligence, with the aim of enhancing their educational capabilities and better preparing them for future job opportunities.
