Haunting final footage of Nancy Guthrie on day she vanished is turned over to FBI

Haunting footage of Nancy Guthrie riding in an Uber on the day she vanished from her Arizona home has been turned over to the FBI, it has emerged.

The surveillance video shows Guthrie, 48, in the rideshare vehicle while en route to her daughter Annie’s house, Crime Stories with Nancy Grace reported.

The Uber driver gave police all the footage captured from inside their vehicle, the crime show revealed. The clip has not been released to the public.

Police received the footage during the early stages of their investigation and have since found ‘nothing of substance’ in connection to the ride.

Guthrie’s Uber driver was interviewed at length, but police determined the ride on January 31 was ‘just a regular pick up and drop off.’

The mother-of-three returned to her house just before 10pm. Annie’s husband Tommaso Cioni gave her a ride home.

Nancy was abducted from her $1 million Tucson home in the early hours of February 1, and there have been no arrests or suspects named in the nearly seven weeks since.

NBC Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, 54, and her close family have endured continual heartbreak amid a massive but so far fruitless search by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI.

Police believe she Nancy Guthrie was taken from her bedroom inside the property, where she had lived since the 1970s.

Investigators found drops of her blood on the front porch.

The FBI also released surveillance footage on February 10 that showed a masked man at Guthrie’s doorstep on the night she disappeared.

The individual appeared to be armed and was seen tampering with a security camera mounted near the entrance.

Sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News that the same man may have been outside the home on previous occasions before February 1.

Authorities have otherwise released little evidence publicly.

The FBI is understood to have recently recovered thumbnail images from motion-activated cameras positioned around the Tucson-area property where Guthrie was abducted nearly seven weeks ago, sources briefed on the investigation claimed.

But the cameras, which were aimed at the swimming pool, backyard and side yard, were unable to provide full video footage.

Instead, investigators were able to retrieve reduced-size still images captured when the cameras were triggered by motion according to the source.

The images themselves revealed nothing suspicious except for what was missing.

Investigators were able to observe several people moving around the backyard and side yard at various times prior to the abduction.

Additional images also captured law enforcement officers near the pool after Guthrie had already been taken.

But the cameras recorded nothing at all on the night she disappeared, a gap that investigators have described as ‘odd.’

Earlier this month, FOX News Digital reported that a Ring camera about 2.5 miles from Guthrie’s home had captured 12 vehicles passing around the time she went missing.

The Pima County Sheriff´s Department declined to say whether any of the passing vehicles in the videos were found to have been involved in Guthrie’s disappearance.

The agency said investigators are reviewing hundreds of hours of surveillance footage.

Nancy Guthrie’s home has been turned back over to her family. ‘No trespassing’ signs have been posted on the property.

The Guthrie family has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to the recovery of their mother, but solid information in the case has been hard to come by.
