
The Ministry of Health is following up on the implementation of the electronic workforce system “MANPOWER” In the Directorate of Health Affairs in Cairo Governorate, through field tours to ensure accurate implementation and overcome challenges.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, Assistant Minister for Institutional Development Affairs, confirmed that the system constitutes an essential pillar for digital transformation in the health sector, as more than 850 thousand job files have been registered nationwide, which supports effective planning for distributing cadres. For her part, Manal Mamoun, Head of the Central Administration for Human Resources, explained that the directorate completed reviewing and updating the data of 30,840 employees out of a total of 56,359, with 13,015 job files updated during the past three months.
The Ministry aims to complete the update by 100% by January 2026, in preparation for To issue administrative documents electronically, such as a statement of status, release, and leave management, to reduce reliance on paper forms and speed up procedures.
In turn, Dr. Hadir Suwaidan, Director of the General Department of Talent Development, indicated that the field traffic teams, in cooperation with the departments of digital transformation and talent development, are working to follow up implementation and address challenges in coordination with the teams. The teams also focus on training workers to raise their efficiency in using the system, to ensure the sustainability of the system and achieve the Ministry’s vision of managing smart human resources, in line with the national digital transformation plan.
