I Dream of Jeannie star Barbara Eden turns 94 and looks more glamorous than ever… see her now

She may have put away her genie bottle more than five decades ago, but Barbara Eden is still enchanting fans at 94.

The Hollywood legend marked her milestone birthday on Saturday with a radiant photo posted to her official Instagram, where she could be seen flashing her signature Jeannie pose in a vibrant blue patterned blouse.

‘Let’s all take a moment to wish our favorite blonde, entertainment icon and Hollywood legend Barbara Eden a very VERY Happy Birthday today!’ her team wrote, before inviting fans to share their well-wishes.

They continued: ‘We invite you to share your birthday wishes for Ms. Eden here as she celebrates her 94th Birthday! – Team Eden.’

Tributes quickly poured in, including from Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth, who exclaimed: ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARBARA. I [red heart emoji] you!’

Paris Hilton, who has dressed up at ‘Jeannie’ for Halloween in the past sent her good wishes.

‘Happy Birthday icon!’ she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Former Sabrina the Teenage Witch co-star Caroline Rhea also commented, ‘Happy Birthday ageless beauty!’

Eden is best known for her role as the title character in the hit TV series I Dream of Jeannie, which aired from 1965-1970.

She starred as a genie in a bottle who fell in love with her ‘master,’ an astronaut played by Larry Hagman.

She is only surviving member of the main cast of the Emmy nominated sitcom.

In an interview with People in 2023, Eden shared her secret to eternal youth. ‘All through the years, I’ve noticed that many people don’t realize what a joy it is and what a gift it is to be able to work in an arena that you really love,’ she told the outlet.

‘So many people have to work in jobs they hate, and they have to do it just for sustenance, but aren’t we lucky when we can study for something, enjoy it and know that other people enjoy it? I think that’s a gift that life gives us, if we are willing to work for it.’

In an interview with Fox News in 2024, the fit nonagenarian said she watches what she eats and stays strong with light exercise.

Paris Hilton and other famous fans sent greetings. ‘Happy Birthday icon!’ she said

‘I used to work out all the time. I used to do spinning classes and then do weights with a trainer,’ she said.

‘When Covid hit, that ended my heavy workouts. Now I have a stationary bicycle and I lift five pounds. I use very lightweight weights, but they’re good for your bones.’

Eden got her start as a skit actress on The Johnny Carson Show in 1956. She went on to have small parts in I Love Lucy and The Andy Griffith show, before being cast as Jeannie.

The show was inspired by the popularity of Bewitched, starring another beautiful blonde, Elizabeth Montgomery, which had debuted in 1964 on a rival network.

Eden wrote her memoir, Jeannie Out of the Bottle in 2011, and published a children’s book, Barbara and the Djinn in 2021.

She still has the magic with her fans and often takes part in various conventions around the country, and was scheduled to appear at the upcoming FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention in September.

‘They’re the best fans in the whole world,’ she said. ‘When I get up on the big stage, I speak, and then I do the Q&A, I’m sometimes surprised. They know more than I do about my work!’
