Ivanka Trump has taken to social media to gush over Elon Musk’s mother after the pair were pictured enjoying lunch in Miami last week.
The 43-year-old daughter of Donald Trump took to her Instagram Story on Friday and shared a photo of Maye Musk’s 2019 book entitled A Woman Makes a Plan: Advice for a Lifetime of Adventure, Beauty, and Success.
The book features Maye’s personal stories and lessons learned from a life of ‘living dangerously carefully,’ and it clearly had an effect on mother-of-three Ivanka.
Alongside a snap of the book’s cover, Ivanka wrote: ‘Thank you for sharing your wisdom @mayemusk – it truly resonated with me! xx.’
Maye, 76, is not only the mother of Tesla founder and billionaire Elon, she is also a model and dietitian who has worked in fashion for over 50 years.
At age 74, she became the oldest model to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2022.
Elon’s mother has also modeled for brands like Fila and Ugg, and was Covergirl’s oldest ambassador at age 69.
Perhaps her connection with Ivanka comes as no surprise considering her son’s close friendship with President Trump.

Ivanka posted a photo of Mayes 2019 memoir on her Instagram Story and thanked her for ‘sharing your wisdom’
Back in December, Maye shed some light on Elon’s relationship with Trump, 78, as well as her own experience with the President’s family.
During an appearance on Fox Business, she said whilst laughing: ‘They do get along well.
‘Trump just likes someone he can completely trust who doesn’t have any alternative motives,’ she said of their connection.
‘The funny thing is at the Thanksgiving dinner, Barron and Elon were talking planets,’ she continued, referring to Trump’s youngest child.
‘He’s 18-years-old. They were discussing all the different planets and why Mars is the best place to start a new civilization.’
She also said she was very impressed with the youngest of the President’s brood, whose mother is Melania Trump.
Maye, who was also present at several Trump events last year, referred to the President’s family as ‘delightful, kind and interesting’ and said she is looking forward to spending more time with the First Lady.
She also claimed that Trump wanted things to be open and honest during his second term, and said he is ‘not going to be mean to people.’

During the interview, she also shared more on her son and her own shift toward the right.
‘Biden and the White House either just kept on either ignoring, or investigating or suing Elon and his companies,’ she said.
‘That made me very angry because he’s just trying to do good,’ she went on. ‘They’re doing everything to put obstacles in his way.’
‘I was so angry before the election, and now I just feel like the whole world has opened up for not only America but definitely for the world,’ she gushed. ‘There’s so much more happiness.’
