
Josh Hartnett was rushed to a Canadian hospital last week after a vehicle he was riding in was hit by a law officer in St. John’s Canada.
The Pearl Harbor star, 47, had been a passenger in an SUV which a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary vehicle made contact with at around Thursday at 1 a.m. local time, the CBC reported.
Hartnett had been returning home after production on a Netflix series that has not been assigned a title publicly.
A 59-year-old man whose name was not publicly released was driving the vehicle that the Lucky Number Slevin actor was in, the CBC reported.
A police officer ‘as a precaution’ was hospitalized, officials said.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said that Hartnett, his driver and the officer had been seen by medical professionals for minor injuries.

Both of the vehicles involved in the incident had been ‘significantly damaged’ as result of the collision, the CBC reported.
Officials are seeking witnesses and video in connection with the incident, which took place at the corner of New Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue.
The Black Hawk Down actor is working on a show tentatively titled ‘untitled Netflix Newfoundland series.’
The production on the streamer also features Mackenzie Davis, Darrin Baker, Charlie Heaton, Tanchay Redvers, Joshua Close, Rohan Campbell, Ruby Stokes, Kaleb Horn, Willow Kean and Natasha Henstridge.
