Justin Bieber Waiting For Hailey’s Rhode Deal To Pay Scooter Braun

Apparently, Justin Bieber is leaning on wifey Hailey Bieber to help him out of some financial issues. The ‘Sorry’ singer recently agreed to pay ex-manager Scooter Braun a massive $31.5 million ($48.4 million AUD) to settle some debts, but he’s reportedly waiting for Hailey to get paid before he wires the money over.

You see, Hailey recently sold her skincare company Rhode to e.l.f. Cosmetics for a casual $1 billion ($1.5 billion AUD) deal earlier this year. We love a financial beauty queen!

TMZ alleged Justin isn’t planning to pay up until the Rhode sale is finalised, because he’s an investor in the company — meaning his cut is “around $50 million” ($76.8 million AUD).

TMZ sources also claimed Justin doesn’t have enough cash left from selling his full catalogue of music in 2022 for $200 million ($307.3 AUD) due to “taxes, managers, accountants, lawyers, spending, etc”.

Why does Justin Bieber owe Scooter Braun so much money?

In 2022, Justin Bieber ended up having to cancel his ‘Justice’ tour after he developed facial paralysis, which was later diagnosed as Ramsay Hunt syndrome. According to Page Six, the company financing the tour had already paid Justin a $40 million ($61.4 million AUD) advance, and demanded the singer repay $26 million ($39.9 million AUD).

Scooter ended up paying the debt through the Hybe company, with an insider saying: “He stepped in to help him”.

Justin’s ex-manager also claimed he was owed $11 million ($16.9 million AUD) in unpaid commissions, so the singer is repaying about half of this.

Justin Bieber’s money issues

Page Six sources have recently claimed to be worried about Justin Bieber’s spending habits, with one alleging Bieber is currently spending “more than he’s making” right now.

“He’ll spend $300,000 at the Nobu at Coachella,” they said. “He hasn’t worked in a really long time.” However, another source close to the singer said he didn’t go to Nobu at Coachella. Who to believe?

His representatives also hit out at any talk of financial problems surrounding the singer, telling The Hollywood Reporter: “Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress… either doesn’t understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin, which bears no resemblance to reality.”

In an effort to squash the story, they also gave a statement to US Weekly. “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources’, disappointed that they no longer work with Justin. As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

Justin recently released a surprise album called Swag, so at least he’s doing his part to make some dosh to repay his debts. He’s standing on business, amirite???
