Kanye West’s apology SHATTERS the biggest myth about his marriage to Bianca Censori… as his inner circle let slip her ‘agenda’

Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori encouraged him to make a change before he apologized for his hateful antisemitic rants this week, an insider has claimed.

But multiple sources, who spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail on condition of anonymity, speculated that the rapper – who goes by Ye – only published the bombshell statement for self-serving reasons.

‘I don’t know if there were any financial [motivations], but I know that he felt pretty excluded,’ one source said, noting that many around West had distanced themselves from him because of his ‘really unacceptable and terrible behavior.’

‘He wants to be part of the world again. He wants to participate. He’s doing a concert in Mexico City in two days so he’s definitely trying to get back into normal life.’

Another insider pointed out the suspicious timing of the apology since West’s latest album is set to drop this Friday.

‘I’m sure that there is some self-promotion going on with this statement, but I’ll take any sort of apology,’ the second source said of the rapper’s lengthy mea culpa, which appeared in a paid full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal on Monday.

‘So many people have been trying to get through to him, to show him how his beliefs and the things he said were dangerous and sinful and bigoted and wrong, so for him to acknowledge that feels huge to a lot of us.’

The friend also revealed how his spiraling mental health and disturbing behavior – including private racist rants – became worse after Kanye’s divorce from Kim Kardashian, who the source said ‘kept him on his meds’.

More recently, one of the people pushing West toward repentance and to take his medication again was his current wife Bianca Censori, our first source claimed.

We’re told a turning point for her was when West released his abhorrent track Heil Hitler around the time the couple, who wed in 2022, had been vacationing together in Spain.

‘Everyone just lost it [after the Hitler song],’ the first source said. ‘Bianca got upset. Everyone was in agreement that they didn’t want him to influence people like that.’

We’re told that Censori, however, is very loyal to her husband and, although she is not in agreement with many of his decisions, she chooses to still support him.

‘She knows what she wants. She has an agenda,’ the source said. ‘She’s going to do her art shows. She’s actually pretty in charge.’

The source also shot down rumors that Censori, 31, is under any mind control, claiming: ‘It could even be the opposite. She’s pretty strong.’

Prior to secretly tying the knot three years ago, Censori and West worked closely together as the former was the Head of Architecture for the rapper’s Yeezy brand.

Following West’s 2022 divorce from Kardashian, the mother of his four children, his partnership with the Australian influencer turned romantic.

‘They have a relationship that’s mutual and she likes to be naked,’ a source said, giving further insight into Censori and West’s dynamic.

‘It’s not like Kim that was more so doing her own stuff. Bianca and Ye are more together and he’s not imposing anything.’

We’re told Censori encouraged West – who has been open about his bipolar disorder – to get back on medication as early as last summer and, as a result, his recent apology via the Wall Street Journal has been months in the making.

This week, the Jesus Walks rapper wrote to those he has ‘hurt’ for his antisemitic and racist behavior, including his family, the Black community and Jews.

In the full-page advert, he blamed his actions on his mental health diagnosis, which he claimed he developed because of medical oversight that failed to diagnose a frontal-lobe injury sustained in the crash more than two decades ago.

He alleged he sustained a brain injury during the 2002 crash that went ‘unnoticed’ at the time, with the ‘medical oversight’ triggering years of mental health decline.

‘At the time, the focus was on the visible damage – the fracture, the swelling, the immediate physical trauma,’ he wrote. ‘The deeper injury, the one inside my skull, went unnoticed.

‘The possibility of a frontal-lobe injury was never raised. It wasn’t properly diagnosed until 2023. That medical oversight caused serious damage to my mental health and led to my bipolar type-1 diagnosis.’

‘I’m a little skeptical,’ one source admitted in response to the car crash revelation.

‘We all saw that he has manic episodes. I don’t really know the medical [explanation], [but] it’s definitely useful to say that. It’s an easy way to get out.’

A second source, who has known West for nearly two decades, told the Daily Mail why his excuse is probable.

‘I’m not Ye’s doctor, so I can’t really confirm the stuff about his frontal lobe. But that’s always been his thing,’ the insider explained. ‘He’s always said, ‘maybe the accident is why I am the way I am.’

‘I don’t know how it works, but I can say that his problems always seemed to be more chemical. He’d take his meds, and he’d even out. He’d behave better. That sounds more chemical than a brain injury. But I’m not his doctor. I can’t say for sure.’

Last week, West was photographed on a date night in Los Angeles sporting a heavier frame, leading one insider to express concern about the toll the meds have taken.

‘He looks OK but the medication worries me because he looks a bit with a blank gaze,’ the source said, but said West likely felt ‘cornered’ into getting help.

In recent years, the Grammy winner has been dropped by many business partners, uninvited from several Hollywood events and even derided by loyal fans.

West had embraced conspiracy theories claiming Jewish people control the media, music industry and finances, declaring: ‘The Jewish media blocked me out. This is not hate speech, this is the truth.’

He also praised Nazis, wore swastikas and his song Heil Hitler saw him banned from Australia and Brazil and effectively shut out of touring and earning money through live performances across much of the Western world.

While his comments sparked widespread condemnation, there were signs of remorse prior to the Wall Street Journal essay. In November, he was filmed apologizing to New York Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto in November during a private meeting.

‘He’s not antisemitic,’ the first source insisted. ‘He’s not even greedy. He dresses very humbly. He has few objects. He’s kind. He has compassion.

‘It’s a shame. He pretends to be so bad, but it’s really unfortunate. He wants to pretend to be such a bad guy but he’s not.’

However, some close to West claim that after the entertainer’s marriage to Kardashian ended and his mental state deteriorated, he expressed hateful and bigoted ideology in private messages.

‘Ye would start talking about Jews when he was spiraling,’ a second insider said.

‘If he wasn’t spiraling, he wasn’t antisemitic, or at least he didn’t say it out loud. But when he was in a spiral, he’d say things privately.’

‘I tried to explain things to him, and other people have tried too. His big one has always been that the Jews killed Jesus.’

‘When he was feeling antisemitic, that was a go-to for him: “Well, the Jews killed Jesus, so they’re evil.”‘

The Daily Mail was also told West’s worsening mental health was kept in check for years by Kardashian who supported him and stayed on top of his medication, doctors’ appointments and treatment.

But since their split in 2021, his inner circle has been ‘watching him decline for years.’

‘With Ye, you never know what you’re going to get,’ the second insider said. ‘It was clear that he was bipolar, we all know that. But it got worse over the years.’

The source said Kardashian, 45, helped him stave off his demons for years.

‘Kim kept Ye on his meds,’ the second source said. ‘She would remind him, she would make sure the prescriptions were filled. She would take care of doctors’ appointments. She’d do all that.’

But the friend said West often resisted her interventions.

‘He hated all that; it bothered him to be on meds. He would say that he didn’t feel like himself, and especially that he couldn’t create. But Kim kept that going, kept him in check.’

West’s marital breakdown in 2021 marked a turning point.

‘That’s why things collapsed when they finally split up,’ said the pal.

‘He stopped taking meds, and he stopped cold turkey. He didn’t take them, and that’s when things got really strange for him.’

His struggles took a heavy toll on his relationship with Kardashian, with whom he shares daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 6.

At the height of their conflict, Kardashian publicly denounced her ex husband while West accused her of keeping him from his children and launched a series of erratic social-media attacks against her and her family.

Friends say the relationship has softened somewhat in recent months.

‘From what I understand from Ye, things are better there,’ the friend said.

‘They’re being more communicative and cordial. I wouldn’t say amicable, but I’d say that she’s making sure he can see his kids when he wants, and she’s trying to do right by him. That’s my perspective.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Ye’s team for comment.
