Kasr Al-Aini Hospitals decides to establish clinics for workers’ families and reviews the occupancy management plan

The Board of Directors of Cairo University Hospitals held its regular meeting for the month of November 2025, headed by Prof. Dr. Hossam Salah, Dean of Kasr Al-Aini Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Hospitals Board of Directors, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hossam Hosni, Executive Director of the Hospitals, deputy CEOs, department heads, and hospital directors, along with the college’s deputies and a number of medical and administrative leaders.
Dr. Hossam Hosni began the meeting by reviewing the highlights of what took place. Accomplished during the past month, most notably:
▪︎ Signing a cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Medicine of Kasr Al-Aini and the Department of Medical Services of the Armed Forces to support medical training, exchange experiences, and develop the skills of doctors in subspecialties, which contributes to raising the efficiency of cadres and unifying training standards in accordance with the latest international systems.
▪︎ Organizing an induction day for new resident doctors with the aim of introducing them to the hospital’s policies and academic and practical training and qualification programmes, ensuring their rapid integration into the work environment. Medical.
▪︎ Creating dedicated clinics for the families of Cairo University workers within the outpatient clinics at Kasr Al-Aini, within the framework of the university’s institutional direction headed by Professor Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadiq to provide rapid and specialized medical services for workers and their families. Professor Dr. Hossam Salah confirmed that this step reflects the commitment of the hospitals and the college to care for university staff, and to ensure that they receive the highest levels of health care within an integrated therapeutic environment.
▪︎ Follow-up of occupancy rates within Kasr Al-Aini hospitals, as Professor Dr. Hossam Hosni stressed the necessity of continuous follow-up to ensure the efficiency and continuity of providing medical services. He pointed out that the executive management is working to implement flexible plans to distribute patients and make optimal use of available resources, in addition to updating periodic follow-up systems to avoid any pressure on medical units.
▪︎ Review of medical stock, as the Council confirmed the availability of a sufficient stock of medicines and supplies to cover the needs of hospitals for a full six months, ensuring the continuity of medical work without any obstacles.
The Council also approved donations made to Kasr Al-Aini hospitals during the month of November.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Hossam Salah thanked the members of the Council, stressing the continuation of work on developing the medical services provided within Cairo University Hospitals and supporting them in all ways.
