Reality competition show “King of Drag” has been renewed for a second season at LGBTQ+ streaming service Revry.
Casting applications for Season 2 opened Tuesday.

Season 1 was hosted by “Somebody Somewhere” star Murray Hill. Guest judges included Tony winner Cole Escola, Lisa Rinna, director Paul Feig, Bridget Everett, Layshia Clarendon, Jeff Hiller, Landon Cider, Vico Ortiz, Liv Hewson, Mo B. Dick, Brian Michael Smith, Carmen Carrera, Jackie Beat, Aubrey Shea, Kathleen Hanna, Cameron Esposito and Kylie Sonique Love.
The regular judging panel consisted of Sasha Velour, Gottmik, Tenderoni, Wang Newton and Revry co-founder and CEO Damian Pelliccione. After weeks of competition, King Molasses was crowned the winner.
“‘King of Drag’ is giving this art form the global spotlight it’s always deserved,” Pelliccione said. “Season 1 proved there is a genuine hunger and worldwide audience for it. We’re building Season 2 for them, and for a new batch of drag kings ready to share their talent with viewers everywhere. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity for everyone involved.”
The inaugural season has surpassed 32 million views to date and yielded more than 30 million social media impressions and over 3.8 billion press impressions, according to Revry. The series also earned two 2026 Queerty Awards nominations.
Season 2 is set to premiere in the fall.
