Hot off the press, Channel Nine is finally coming through with its latest and greatest season of the messy dating show we all know and froth, Love Island Australia.
During the NRL Grand Final (which, spoiler alert, the Brisbane Broncos won), the reality TV gods finally blessed us with a mini teaser of the steamy show.

Is there a trailer for Love Island Australia 2025?
On Sunday, October 5, in an Adam and Eve-style video, Love Island Australia monarch Sophie Monk gave us a little teaser into what we can expect from this year’s season.
The video begins with Monk hanging out in a scene similar to Sandro Botticelli‘s The Birth of Venus, where she’s reading the book on “The Rules of Love”.
Naturally, the rules include all that mushy stuff Instagram posts would consist of, such as “no breadcrumbing, no ghosting, no gaslighting”, etc. However, when Monk gets to “never stalk your ex’s socials ever,” she immediately throws the book out and takes a bite of the “Forbidden Fruit”.
“Just one bite,” she says before sinking her teeth into an apple that transforms her into a demonic baddie (in the best way possible).
Monk goes on to promise “more hookups, more heat and way more twists” in this upcoming season of Love Island Australia, alongside snippets of what appear to be islanders and their potential matches.
“The wicked new season of Love Island Australia is coming. Thou shall be very wicked,” Monk says.
Consider me sat!!!
When is Love Island Australia 2025 coming out?
Unfortunately, the trailer did not reveal an exact premiere date. But they did say it’s coming! So I guess we’ll just have to sit around and wait for our fix.
Who is in the cast for Love Island Australia 2025?
The cast list for Love Island Australia has yet to drop (womp womp for us). However, we did get a glimpse into who could be appearing on the show through its mini teaser.
