Madbouly: The state spares no effort in providing various forms of support for serious industrial projects

At the beginning of his tour, the Prime Minister indicated that today’s visit to the “Obour Land” factory It comes within the framework of the keenness to encourage successful industrial projects, which contribute to efforts to deepen the industry and increase production to meet the needs of the local market, in addition to increasing Egyptian exports, pointing out in this regard to the efforts made by the government to attract more local and foreign investments to establish more factories and expand existing factories,  Stressing that the state does not  It spares no effort in providing various forms of support for serious industrial projects that achieve added value and contribute to creating more job opportunities.

For his part, Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, explained that the food industry sector is one of the important sectors, especially factories operating in the fields of dairy products production, as Egypt has great competitiveness, Its products are distinguished by high quality, noting in this context the tangible success achieved by Egyptian products in various Arab, African and international markets.

During his tour of the factory, the Prime Minister learned about the various stages of manufacturing and the integrated production line at the “Obour Land 2” factory. Specializing in the manufacture of white cheese, where the stages of production, pasteurization, filtration, adding salt and other ingredients were observed, then the stage of concentrated milk and pushing it towards the cheese making stage. The production hall was also inspected, and the “Tetra Pak” machines, assembly, packaging and printing machines were seen, and the company’s products exhibition prepared for the local market. And export.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly listened to an explanation from Engineer Mohamed Hamed Sharif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Obour Land Food Industries Company, who pointed out that the company is one of the leading companies in the field of food industries, and works in the field of producing dairy, cheese, and juices, and is located on an area of 26 thousand square meters, pointing out that the company was established in 1996, and production began in the year 1998, noting that it has a marketing share in the Egyptian market amounting to about 40% of cheese products.

He added that the “Obour Land” company It produces a variety of distinct products, such as: sterilized milk in various sizes, whether full-fat or skim, with a production rate of 100 tons per day, in addition to natural and vegetarian white cheese products in different sizes and foods, with an average production of 450 tons per day, and a maximum production capacity of 750 tons per day, in addition to producing juices from various types of fruits. Available in the Egyptian market, with a production rate of 60 tons per day, he noted that the natural and vegetarian processed cheese factory contributes to covering the needs of the local market, and the bulk of the production is exported to the Arab Gulf countries and some other countries.

In a related context, engineer Mohamed Hamed Sharif indicated that the “Obour Land” company… It exports its products to about 35 countries such as: Russia, Azerbaijan, South Africa, Thailand, and the Arab Gulf countries, in addition to a number of African countries such as: Chad, Senegal, … and others.

He pointed out that the company’s products are distinguished by their high quality, as they obtained ISO certificates for quality, and the Egyptian and Emirati quality certificate, in addition to the presence of the company’s products on the “list.” white" of the National Food Safety Authority, noting also the company’s keenness to adhere to the rules and standards of occupational safety and health.

He also pointed out that the company employs about 2,600 workers, and has a huge distribution network covering all governorates of the Republic, through “refrigerated cars” Which transports and distributes the company’s various products to sales outlets and commercial markets, in addition to agents located throughout the Republic.

Engineer Ahmed Hussein, General Manager of Factories at Obour Land Company, touched on the “expansion plan” At the company, he noted that the construction of a new factory has been completed, and the installation of machines and equipment has been completed, pointing out that operating trials will be conducted during the current month, in preparation for the start of production at the beginning of next November, as the factory will work primarily in the field of producing “processed cheese.” Because it is currently the most in demand in the field of export.

In the same context, the engineer spoke  Ahmed Hussein, about the expansion plans of the “Obour Farm” farm. It is a farm affiliated with the company, and currently produces about 12 tons of milk per day, and there are about 700 cows, pointing out that the company aims to reach a production rate of 30 tons per day of milk, to meet the increasing demand for its products, as the company’s factories often operate at full capacity, especially during seasonal periods and increased demand.
