‘Malcolm In The Middle’ Revival Gets Premiere Date, Key Art, Photos & Trailer Revealing Hal, Lois & Their Grown-Up Children, Including Dewey After Recast

Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfairthe upcoming four-episode revival of the 2000s Fox comedy series, will premiere April 10, 2026 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the US and Disney+ internationally.
We are getting a first official glimpse at the return of the beloved TV family, led by parents Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek), 19 years after the end of the original series.
“My life is fantastic now. All I had to do is stay away from my family,” a grown-up Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) says in the trailer.
That is about to change. In the revival, titled after the original series’ theme song, after shielding himself and his daughter from his family for over a decade, Malcolm is dragged back into their orbit when Hal and Lois demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.
The trailer, which you can watch above, features the return of Muniz, Cranston and Kaczmarek as well as Christopher Kennedy Masterson and Justin Berfield as Malcolm’s brothers Francis and Reese, respectively, and Emy Coligado as Francis’ wife Piama. It also introduces Anthony Timpano and Vaughan Murrae as the youngest siblings Jamie and Kelly — seen as a baby/toddler (Jamie) or not at all (Kelly) on the original series — as well as Keeley Karsten as Malcolm’s daughter Leah and Kiana Madeira as his girlfriend Tristan.
The trailer does not include Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, the actor who succeeded Erik Per Sullivan as Malcolm’s brother Dewey, but he is in the key art alongside Berfield, Kaczmarek, Muniz, Cranston and Masterson.
