Michael Cohen says he was ‘pressured by two top Democrats to testify against Trump’ in bombshell revelation… as president slams ‘corrupt investigation’

Michael Cohen, a former ‘fixer’ and personal attorney to Donald Trump, has sensationally accused two top Democrats of pressuring him to testify against the president.

Cohen was convicted in 2018 for his role in facilitating hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels and model Karen McDougal during Trump’s 2016 presidential election.

He also served as a star witness in Trump’s 2024 trial, where the president was found guilty on 34 state felony counts of falsifying business records.

However, Cohen is now claiming that he was pressured into testifying by New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in a bombshell new essay.

‘From the time I first began meeting with lawyers from the Manhattan DA’s Office and the New York Attorney General’s Office in connection with their investigations of President Trump, and through the trials themselves, I felt pressured and coerced to only provide information and testimony that would satisfy the government’s desire to build the cases against and secure a judgment and convictions against President Trump,’ he wrote on his Substack on Friday.

Cohen testified in two highly-publicized trials against Trump. The first was a civil action brought by the New York attorney general’s office and the second was a criminal suit prosecuted by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
