Minister of Health: The Ministry contributed to strengthening the health indicators of beneficiary families "Takaful and dignity"
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, confirmed that the vision of the Egyptian government was clear when it launched the program & laquo, Takaful and Dignity & Raquo; 10 years ago, as an unprecedented step to enable the most needy groups, with a strong will from President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, with the support of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in cooperation with the World Bank ."RTL"> This came in the speech of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, during the celebration organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, under the title & Laquo; Social Protection .. The past lessons draw the steps of the future & raquo; Under the patronage and presence of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Eng."RTL"> The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health explained that the & laquo program & raquo; Linking cash support to school regularity and periodic health detection, noting that official follow -up data, regarding the percentage of school attendance among beneficiaries, increased by 8%, and children’s vaccination rates improved by 12% since 2018 ."RTL"> Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar added that the & laquo program, Karama & RAKUO; It serves more than 1.39 million families, and provides unconditional cash support for the elderly, and those with disabilities, and it is a national declaration that no one in Egypt will leave behind the knees, explaining that the program & laquo, takaful and dignity & raquo; It has reached more than 2.5 million families so far, and more than 21 million citizens benefit from it all over the Republic, which is one of the largest conditional and unconditional monetary transfers in the region, and perhaps the most accurate, efficient and comprehensive in the modern history of Egypt ."RTL"> He noted the development of the program from the stage of protection to empowerment, from support to production, and from safety networks to self -reliance, noting that the Ministry of Health and Population contributed to strengthening health indicators for beneficiary families, as the average mortality of children under the age of five decreased between 2014 and 2021 from 27.5 to 22.3 per 1000 live births, and the maternal death rate decreased from 52 to 43 per 100,000 Birth ."RTL"> The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health emphasized the strengthening of work with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Planning, partners at the World Bank, and civil society, to integrate social protection with health care, and link safety networks to production opportunities, to create a real shift in the lives of citizens with technology and trust, in line with the axis of human development, and vision & laquo; Egypt 2030 & quot;."RTL"> & nbsp;
