Counsel Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority, announced the start of vote counting in 31 electoral centers outside the country, while the electoral process is still continuing inside 108 other polling stations, in the runoff round in the second phase of the House of Representatives elections for individual seats, which includes 55 electoral districts distributed over 13 governorates.
Counsel Ahmed Bandari said – in a press conference held on Tuesday evening – that all polling stations are outside the country, Which is located inside the headquarters of the Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad, distributed among 117 countries around the world. It had opened its doors on its scheduled time at nine in the morning according to the local time of each country, to receive voters wishing to cast their votes on the second day. He indicated the end of the second and final electoral day in 31 polling stations outside the country at the headquarters of Egyptian diplomatic missions, including embassies and consulates, where the work of counting the votes of voters, counting them numerically, and monitoring the votes obtained by each candidate began immediately.
On the other hand, the Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority confirmed the completion of all preparations for holding a round. The rerun of the second phase of the elections inside the country, which will begin tomorrow morning, Wednesday, and will continue over two consecutive days, indicating that the number of sub-polling committees is 4,494, distributed among the 13 governorates in which the elections are being held, in 55 electoral districts containing 101 seats.
Councilor Ahmed Bandari said, in a speech addressed to the voters: "It is your votes that will form the acting parliament.
