November 20: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo organizes the fourth edition of The Investor Conference

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo, in cooperation with Black Diamond Company for Organizing Conferences and Exhibitions, will organize on November 20th the fourth edition of “The Investor” conference. Under the slogan “Egypt – Oman… Land of Opportunities”.

Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo, said in a statement today, Wednesday, that organizing the conference comes within the framework of the embassy’s keenness to support Egyptian investors in the Sultanate of Oman and open new investment horizons in Egypt for Omani investors, thus enhancing the distinguished economic relations between the two brotherly countries.

Ambassador Al-Rahbi added that the volume of investments The joint exchange between the two countries amounted to about one billion dollars, while the volume of trade exchange reached 858 million dollars during the year 2024, stressing the readiness of the Sultanate of Oman to provide full support to investors through official channels and direct cooperation with the Egyptian government, and to encourage partnerships between the two private sectors.

In turn, Eng. Ahmed Sabour, Secretary-General of “The Investor” conferences, explained The conference represents a platform to highlight investment opportunities in the two countries, especially the real estate sector, as the Sultanate of Oman owns distinctive projects such as Sultan Haitham City, which accommodates about 100,000 people and includes 20,000 residential units and 19 integrated neighborhoods.

Sabour stressed that the experiences of Egyptian developers in implementing fourth generation cities such as the New Administrative Capital, New Alamein, and Al Jalala can be transferred to the Omani market to enhance economic integration between the two countries. Both countries.

In turn, journalist Ahmed Abu Rayya, CEO of Black Diamond, said that The Investor conferences come as a platform for dialogue between investors and decision makers to monitor the challenges facing joint investments and provide recommendations for overcoming them, in addition to promoting investment opportunities and legislative achievements in the field of investment and development.

Abu Rayya pointed out that the conference provides direct meetings between Egyptian and Omani investors to establish joint projects of mutual benefit, in addition to preparing recommendations to be presented. For the Egyptian government to enhance facilities and exemptions that support trade and investment between the two countries.

The conference aims to introduce promising investment opportunities in various economic sectors in both the Sultanate of Oman and Egypt, especially the real estate sector in light of the ambitious development goals, and pioneering projects such as the new administrative capital in Egypt and Sultan Haitham City in the Sultanate of Oman.

The conference includes two expanded discussion sessions with the participation of ministers, officials and directors of bodies from the two countries, to An elite group of real estate investors and developers, to discuss investment opportunities and potential challenges, and come up with practical recommendations to enhance economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman.
