The representatives of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the World Health Organization, as well as the relevant research and laboratory bodies, which were hosted by Egypt. The Chairman of the Commission reviewed the role of veterinary medicine in the face of common diseases, such as: Brucela, rabies, antibiotics resistance, and bird flu, stressing the importance of data exchange regularly between the ministries of health and agriculture, which resulted in the construction of an effective and supportive monitoring system for public health.
