& nbsp; the Chairman of the Public Authority for Veterinary Services, Dr. Hamid Al -Aqsas, confirmed that Egypt has gone a long way in the field of & quot; one health & quot; Through long -term national plans, training courses and national programs, including a single health epidemic program for health, which strengthened integration between the veterinary medicine sector and the Ministry of Health. The representatives of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the World Health Organization, as well as the relevant research and laboratory bodies, which were hosted by Egypt. The Chairman of the Commission reviewed the role of veterinary medicine in the face of common diseases, such as: Brucela, rabies, antibiotics resistance, and bird flu, stressing the importance of data exchange regularly between the ministries of health and agriculture, which resulted in the construction of an effective and supportive monitoring system for public health. He added: The national strategic framework for one health represents a new starting point towards more cooperation between national and international bodies, with the aim of consolidating an integrated health system that achieves a balance between humans, animals and the environment.
