Professor of Economic Geography: It reviews the importance of African corridors to attract investment

Prof. Dr. Sultan Foley, Professor of Economic Geography in the Department of Geography and Geographical Information Systems in the college, presented a research paper entitled & quot; The Economic Development Corridors in Africa and their impact on attracting investments & quot;

This came during his participation in the annual scientific conference of the College of Graduate Studies & nbsp; Entitled & quot; Investing in Africa: Entrepreneurship opportunities and regional and international competition challenges & quot; at the college headquarters in the Great Conference Hall, coinciding with celebrations & quot; Africa Day & quot;.

The conference will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, President of Cairo University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, and Dr. Osama Al -Gohary, Assistant Prime Minister, Director of the Information and Decision Support Center, and headed by the Dean of the College of African Higher Studies, Professor Dr. Attia Al -Tantawi, and supervised by the head of the Policy and Economics Department, Professor Dr. Sally Farid, and Professor Dr. Fleifel, as they are the scientific decision For the conference.

More than 150 experts, academics and diplomats from Egypt and 17 African and Arab countries participate in the conference, through attendance and electronic sessions, discussing strategic axes related to attracting foreign investment, stimulating innovation, expanding green entrepreneurship, addressing financing challenges, evaluating the impact of climate changes and regional conflicts on the investment climate.
