Representative Amr Fahmy criticizes the absence of government coordination regarding the agricultural file
Representative Amr Fahmy, a member of the Senate, stressed that the Egyptian state is making great efforts in achieving food security, based on the directives of the political leadership. This came in his speech during the Senate’s plenary session, headed by Counselor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, during the discussion of a study and request report on food security and the advancement of the agricultural sector.
& nbsp; And the absence of coordination between agriculture and irrigation after completely prevented villages from cultivating it, despite the quality of productivity in these areas. He pointed to the import of Ghazul, which increases the import bill, despite the presence of cotton cultivation in Egypt, while farmers do not obtain their rights.
& nbsp; The deputy demanded the importance of supporting agricultural research centers, as it is one of the pillars of supporting the agricultural sector and the reason for its rise.
