Tammy Hembrow announces closure of her activewear label Saski Collection – months after denying she copied rival brand

Tammy Hembrow is saying goodbye to Saski Collection.
The fitness wear brand, which she launched nearly ten years ago, in 2017, has had its website disabled and shopping there is no longer possible.
The 31-year-old influencer took to the brand’s Instagram page on Thursday to announce the shock closure, while also hinting at another business venture on the horizon.
‘I’ve made the decision, after a lot of thought, to close Saski,’ she could be heard saying in the video, which she filmed in her car.
‘This business, this brand, this has been such a huge part of my life for so many years now and it’s taught me so much about business, about growth, about resilience, about myself.’
Tammy added: ‘Sometimes a chapter needs to close in order to make space for new growth and I’m really excited to see what’s next and I hope you guys come on that journey with me as well.’

In the caption, she further alluded to something exciting in the works.
‘I’m so proud of what we built. And I know that sometimes growth means letting go. I am beyond excited to show you guys what I have in store for this next chapter. Stay tuned,’ she penned.
Speaking to Daily Telegraph, she thanked her fans and followers for making the brand a success.
‘I’m so proud of what we built over almost 10 years and endlessly grateful to everyone who supported the journey,’ she said.
The closure comes just a few months after Tammy was accused of copying a rival activewear brand owned by a fellow Gold Coast influencer.
The social media star was on Instagram in May modelling the latest range from her ‘luxury athleisure brand’ Saski.
However, some fans claimed that she had copied designs from Australian fitness label Crop Shop Boutique (CSB), founded and owned by influencer Rachel Dillon.
Tammy has denied these claims.

A series of videos, shared to Tammy’s Instagram story, showed the fitness influencer modelling an array of clothing from the new range.
One clip showed Tammy, who founded Saski in 2017, flaunting her trim form in a pair of figure-hugging baby pink V-waist shorts as well as a matching pink sports bra with a plunging V neckline.
But some eagle-eyed fashionistas took to social media this week to accuse Tammy of copying a very similar style previously released by Rachel’s label.
One took to Instagram to share a side-by-side shot of Tammy’s outfit, next to a very similar look modelled on the CSB website.
‘CSB 2023, Saski 2025,’ they wrote over the juxtaposed images.
Another echoed the sentiment commenting: ‘This is just a @csb rip off.’
Tammy was quick to hit back at the accusations, claiming that the samples for the clothes had been in her possession for more than a year.
‘We’ve had all these samples for over a year haha sorry to say,’ she responded in a since-deleted comment.
Daily Mail is not suggesting that Tammy Hembrow copied the design from CSB and has contacted Tammy for comment.
