
The Egyptian community in the Kingdom of Jordan has completed its preparations to participate in the House of Representatives elections for Egyptians abroad, which will begin the day after tomorrow, Friday, stressing its keenness to exercise its constitutional right and contribute effectively to political life.
The first phase of the elections for Egyptians abroad will be held for the governorates of: Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, New Valley, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, the Red Sea, Alexandria, Beheira, and Matrouh, next Friday and Saturday, from nine in the morning until nine in the evening.
Egyptians in Jordan will cast their votes at the Egyptian Embassy in Amman, or at the Consulate in Aqaba, using a valid Egyptian passport or original national ID card.
A number of people will also participate. Egyptian students at Zaytouna University in Jordan in the electoral process; The community’s social media and groups played an important role in raising awareness of their constitutional rights and encouraging community members to participate.
These efforts included disseminating accurate information about voting dates, required procedures, and the importance of participation in national decision-making.
These platforms also witnessed widespread interaction among citizens and exchange of discussions on national issues, which reflects the level of political awareness and social involvement of the Egyptian community in Jordan. These awareness initiatives reflect the community’s keenness to follow up on the nation’s issues and contribute to decision-making, praising the role of youth and students in promoting electoral culture and developing political awareness among members of the community abroad.
The National Elections Authority had announced the timetable for the 2025 House of Representatives elections, both at home and abroad in two phases, the first of which in 14 governorates and the second in 13 Governorate.
The elections will be held abroad on November 7 and 8, 2025, and at home on November 10 and 11, with the official result announced on November 18, and the runoff abroad will be held on December 1 and 2, and inside on December 3 and 4, and the runoff result will be announced on December 11.
As for the second phase. Elections will be held abroad on November 21 and 22, and at home on November 24 and 25, with the results for the second phase being announced on December 2. A runoff round will be held abroad on December 15 and 16, and at home on December 17 and 18, with the result announced on December 25.
