The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Dr. Badr Abdel -Ati, discussed, during a phone call that took place today with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Antonio Tayani, developments in the Gaza Strip, and developments in the Horn of Africa, Libya, and the Egyptian water security. Egypt is making it to reach a ceasefire, humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip, and to raise the suffering of the Palestinian people in light of the flagrant violations committed by Israel in the Strip. Early recovery and reconstruction scheduled to be hosted by Egypt as soon as the ceasefire is reached, confirming Italy’s participation in it. In general in light of the tensions in the region, where the continuation of joint coordination between the two friendly countries was emphasized, and in light of the strong relations that link the two leaders in the two countries. On the basis of the joint compatibility and benefit to achieve the interests of all countries of the Nile Basin, stressing the rejection of unilateral measures that violate international law in the East Nile Basin, and stressing that Egypt will take all measures guaranteed under the international law to protect existential capabilities of its people. Time, and the necessity of dismantling the militias and the exit of all foreign forces, foreign fighters and mercenaries, as this is the only guarantee to achieve security and stability in Libya, and prevent illegal immigration
