The process of review that was completed in 2020, and the serious implementation of the recommendations related to it in support of the principles of good governance, and the continuation of the process of building and national development in the areas of governance and empowering women and youth, improving the living conditions of low -income people, and enhancing the role of civil society in advancing economic and social development efforts, which was reflected in Egypt’s presentation of the national progress report before the mechanism forum. The Minister of Foreign Affairs to Egypt’s aspiration to start the targeted review process in the field of administrative reform in cooperation with the mechanism secretariat at the earliest time, confirming Egypt’s continued positive engagement in the mechanism projects and initiatives, and the participation of its extended experiences in building capacity and training, including presenting joint proposals to cooperate with the partners. National providing training and capacity -building, through the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development and the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Preservation and Construction of Peace, pointing to the possibility of exploring ways of cooperation with the mechanism in this framework, and expressed the aspiration to share the mechanism in the fifth edition of the Aswan Forum. The African, and coordination with the Commission on the proposed restructuring plan in preparation for its presentation to the exceptional institutional reform to be held in November 2025. The minister also highlighted the importance of the secretarial role in financial resource governance and reducing dependence on international partners in financing mechanism programs.
