The Head of Organization and Administration receives the Sierra Leone Minister of Administration to discuss the transfer of Egyptian administrative expertise

Engineer Hatem Nabil, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, received at the Agency’s headquarters in the new capital, Mr. Amara Kallon, Minister of Public Administration and Political Affairs of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and his accompanying delegation, within the framework of implementing the cooperation program between the Agency and the Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs in Sierra Leone, which was signed during the visit of the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Madabio, to Egypt last March.

 

Minister Amara Kallon confirmed in The beginning of the meeting was that the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone instructed him to convey his deep thanks and appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the positive results of his visit, which contributed to strengthening relations between the two countries. He added that the Sierra Leone President directed that the progress achieved by Egypt in reform and administrative development be a model to be emulated in his country.

 

For his part, Engineer Hatem Nabil expressed the keenness of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration to cooperate with Sierra Leone and transfer Egyptian expertise in the field of administrative reform, pointing out that the success of the Egyptian experience is due to the continued support of the political leadership for the process of administrative development and improving the performance of public institutions in providing services. For citizens.

 

Engineer Hatem Nabil reviewed the steps taken by the state to achieve this, including legislative and institutional reform, restructuring, assessing actual needs, integrating databases, and developing an integrated system for appointments to public jobs that achieves equal opportunities and attracts the best elements, in addition to building and developing capabilities, raising the efficiency of human resources, and benefiting from digital transformation and technological development.

 

He explained. Minister Amara Kallon said that Sierra Leone seeks to emulate the Egyptian experience, and that President Julius Madabio’s vision comes within the framework of a comprehensive strategy for administrative reform and improving the performance of state institutions, with the aim of implementing what Egypt has accomplished, including developing an advanced system for appointments and tests for applicants for government jobs.

 

The meeting also discussed the agency’s establishment of the portal for government jobs, and the Center for Capacity Assessment and Competitions to conduct tests for applicants, within an electronic system secured against any interference. Human, with the application of governance and transparency standards, and the preparation of question banks by experts and specialists.

 

Engineer Hatem Nabil added that the state was also keen to implement training programs for those intending to join government institutions, to enhance their capabilities and awareness of belonging, national and societal values, and national projects, which will reflect positively on their job performance.

 

During the visit, he inspected The delegation visited the Center for Capacity Assessment and Competitions, and was briefed on the various stages associated with announcing government jobs and conducting tests, including the halls designated for people with disabilities to ensure equal opportunities, and they saw closely the nature of the tests conducted by the center. The delegation praised what Egypt had accomplished in this field, expressing their desire to seek the assistance of the agency’s experts to establish a similar center in Sierra Leone.
