Prof. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, Ambassador Askar Genes, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Cairo, received at the headquarters of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, to discuss the prospects for joint cooperation in the religious and cultural fields. In addition to the Ministry’s keenness to enhance relations with religious institutions in Kazakhstan, through the exchange of scientific and advocacy experiences, hosting imams and researchers, and organizing joint seminars and conferences that address contemporary intellectual issues, and supports the values of tolerance and coexistence. The enlightened, stressing his country’s interest in developing cooperation in the areas of religious training, exchanging Islamic publications and manuscripts, and establishing joint activities that serve human values and historical ties between the two peoples.
