The Minister of Health discusses the latest developments in joint cooperation files with the representatives of the World Bank

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, held a meeting with the representatives of the World Bank, to discuss the latest developments and enhance the opportunities for joint cooperation in investing in the health sector, on the sidelines of the activities of the 78th session of the World Health Assembly in the city of & laquo; Geneva & Raquo; Swiss. The meeting touches on joint cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the World Bank, to ensure the achievement of population development goals, achieve a balance between the population and development, through promoting reproductive health, empowering women, investing in youth, improving educational opportunities, and awareness of population issues, in addition to achieving the social and economic welfare of all citizens. The meeting dealt with strengthening the mechanisms of developing the health sector in Egypt, and how the World Bank support for these efforts, and review and evaluate the existing businesses between the two sides during the previous periods, which include primary health care units that provide services for about 80 million citizens, through 5400 units. Enhance the infrastructure support for the presidential initiative projects & laquo; a decent life & raquo; Support nutrition programs, implementation & nbsp; For the National Nutrition Strategy.
