The Minister of Higher Education praises the achievements of the global surgeon, Dr. Magdy Yaqoub

& nbsp; Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ayman Ashour, praised the valuable achievements presented by Sir Magdy Yaqoub, the Egyptian international heart surgeon, and his recent achievement in developing valves for the heart, noting the human role played by the Magdy Yaqoub Foundation, and the Aswan Heart Center in the service of patients, and providing free high -quality medical services. The Minister – upon receiving Sir Magdy Yaqoub, the Egyptian international heart surgeon, at the Special Education Building in New Cairo – Dr. Majdi Yaqoub, expressing his great appreciation for the great contributions he made during his rich medical and humanitarian career, which represents a source of pride for every Egyptian. A model for health excellence in Upper Egypt, and the integration between academic education and practical application, which contributes to upgrading the health services system, not only within Aswan Governorate, but in all governorates of South Upper Egypt. According to the protocol joint cooperation between the two sides, so that this step turns into a starting point for a deep and multi -faceted cooperation relationship, pointing to the aspects of this extended cooperation to include the fields of scientific research, medical training and training in the field of nursing, by training the youth of doctors in the Heart Department of the Aswan University Hospital inside the center, in order to gain the latest medical skills in the field of heart surgeries and diseases, as well as providing practical training opportunities for students of the Faculty of Nursing at the University Aswan within the same center, in a way that contributes to the rehabilitation of nursing cadres at the highest level of efficiency and experience. The global, as well as exchanging experiences in facing environmental and health challenges at the same time, and intensifying work to adopt sustainable environmental practices such as rationalizing energy consumption and recycling medical waste within health institutions, with the aim of achieving better public health through a sustainable health environment. Aswan Heart, and providing all possible support for the humanitarian and medical initiatives that it plays inside Egypt, which extends its role to many countries in the region, within the framework of the regional role of Egypt, through the research and service role of the university hospital system. Infrastructure and expansion of digitization of services, developing education and medical training programs, activating partnerships with governmental and private sectors locally and internationally, and setting clear policies to ensure the quality of health care provided to the specialist, pointing to the holding of the first conference of university hospitals, whose goals were to create a unified national vision to develop in line with Egypt’s 2030 vision for sustainable development in the axis of health and education, and starting a new stage From coordination and integration between all parties.
