The Minister of Labor and the Qatari Ambassador stress the importance of expanding the recruitment of Egyptian workers into the Qatari labor market

The Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, and the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Egypt and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Tariq Ali Faraj Al-Ansari, confirmed the convening of the joint technical committee between the two sides next December, and they agreed on the importance of expanding the recruitment of Egyptian workers to the State of Qatar every year. sectors, in proportion to the historical relations of the two countries.
This came during the reception of the Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, today, Tuesday, at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Egypt and its permanent representative to the Arab League, Tariq Ali Farag Al-Ansari, in the presence of Second Secretary at the Embassy, Saad Mohamed, to discuss a group of common files.
The Minister of Labor praised the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries, and the outcomes of the meeting of the Egyptian-Qatari Higher Committee held last March after a break of 19 years, which yielded positive results in Supporting cooperation between the two sides in various fields during the coming period, and with the results of his meeting with the Minister of Labor of the State of Qatar, Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, on the sidelines of the 101st session of the Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization, held in Cairo a few days ago.
He reviewed – during the meeting – The efforts of the Ministry of Labor to develop the vocational training system and qualify young people for the needs of the labor market at home and abroad, with a focus on integrated professions in which the worker is proficient in several technical skills and with high competencies.
He pointed to the successful experience in the vocational examination agreement with Saudi Arabia, which aims to ensure that the Egyptian worker possesses the required skills before he travels, explaining that the Ministry seeks to activate electronic connectivity with all countries that need Egyptian labor, and works to cooperate directly with business owners abroad to provide the labor required to protect the rights and duties of both parties. “The employer and the worker.”
For his part, the Qatari ambassador praised the Egyptian workers in his country, and stressed their competitive advantage in all fields.
