The Ministry of Interior organizes the activities of the International Steeplechase Championship in Equestrian Valley
In light of the Ministry of the Interior’s keenness to provide all forms of support and assistance to sports and athletes, and out of its belief in promoting and improving the level of various sports games and activities, especially equestrian sports.
The Ministry of Interior received the riders participating in the international steeplechase jumping and standings championship activities from various countries of the world. On the equestrian valley’s playgrounds, which are distinguished by With a view On Lake Ain al-Hayat in Fustat, it has organizational, logistical and technical equipment that has made it a major destination for hosting all tournaments at the local and international levels. The activities of the International Steeplechase Championship continued, which is being held for the second year in a row in coordination between the Egyptian and International Equestrian Federations over the course of four days with the participation of (190) male and female horsemen from various countries of the world.
The events witnessed the horsemen competing. They competed among themselves to win the first places, and the competitions continued throughout the days of the tournament, day and night, in light of the presence of an advanced lighting system, which contributes to holding the tournaments at night.
The organization of this tournament comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to support Equestrian sports have a traditional nature, which reflects the civilized face of Egypt on the global sports scene, and confirms its ability to host international events in equestrian sports on the Equestrian Valley stadiums, one of the most important sports castles in Egypt.
