The Summer I Turned Pretty fans go wild as a feature film is announced at glamorous Paris event to celebrate the season three finale

It turns out The Summer I Turned Pretty isn’t over just yet.
A feature film continuing the story that has captured the hearts of millions of fans this summer was announced at a glamorous event in Paris on Wednesday to celebrate the season three finale.
Main leads Gavin Casalegno, Lola Tung and Christopher Briney all posed as a trio at the event in France.
A feature film written and directed by Jenny Han will conclude the story, which is based on her book trilogy about Belly (Lola) choosing between two brothers Conrad (Chris) and Jeremiah (Gavin).
Plot details are being kept under wraps for now but the exciting news was revealed on the red carpet in Paris.
Creator and writer Jenny said: ‘There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due.

It comes after Jenny dropped a huge hint there could be more as season three concluded on Wednesday.
At the end of the episode, there was a letter from Jenny, dropping a hint that this won’t be the last fans see of Cousins.
It read: ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you’ve shown The Summer I Turned Pretty all these years. Whether you’ve been with Belly since the very first book or joined us with the show I’m so grateful you’ve made Belly’s story part of your summers.
‘Before dropping the biggest hint yet that the show will return, saying: ‘We put our whole hearts into this show and we’re so thankful to you for coming along with us on the ride.
‘Maybe we’ll meet again one summer in Cousins. Until then – all my love always, Jenny.’
Fans have claimed the near ‘perfect’ final instalment left them sobbing as it drew to a climax.

Fans have waited all series to find out which of the Fisher brothers Belly ultimately ends up with, after calling off her wedding to Jeremiah because she still has feelings for his brother and her ex-boyfriend Conrad.
Episode 11 – named At Last – revealed which of the siblings Belly’s heart really lies with – Conrad.
The end of the previous episode showed Conrad changing his flight from Brussels to Paris in order to surprise Belly on her birthday, which they typically spend together.
The finale began with Conrad arriving on Belly’s doorstep after she gave him the address to her new apartment.
They then enjoy a steamy birthday night together before the final scene of the show sees them heading back to Cousins hand in hand.
Viewers shared their thoughts after tuning into the final episode and admitted they couldn’t hold back their tears as they watched the rollercoaster ride.
Taking to social media to share their thoughts, they said: ‘Me? Crying because The Summer Turner Pretty has ended? Yes and’; ‘It was perfect. My emotions those last 15 mins lol’; ‘I’m already crying. I’M IN SHAMBLES JENNY’;

While most loved the fairytale ending to the show, some argued that they were disappointed that they didn’t get a wedding scene between Conrad and Belly.
They said: ‘Sorry but the ending was not enough’; ‘But what does it mean!??!’; ‘Rushed ending… unnecessary scenes with Paris friends. No wedding. So saaaaad!’; ‘I just don’t get why we couldn’t get the happy ending of seeing them get married or at least engaged. Too much on wanting to prove Belly had evolved into this new persona…’

Another said: ‘But but but… but what about the wedding dress, the ring, Susannah’s letter and and and…’
