‘The Young & Restless’ Reveals Final Appearance Date Of Tristan Rogers

The Young and the Restless is giving fans a chance to say goodbye to the late Tristan Rogers.

The Australian actor, who died Aug. 15 at 79, taped one last scene last summer as Colin Atkinson. He reprised his Y&R role for one episode only that will air tomorrow, Aug. 25.

Rogers played Colin Atkinson from 2010 to 2019 on the CBS soap before returning to General Hospital to reprise Robert Scorpio — a role he played on ABC since 1980.

“Tristan Rogers was a respected member of the soap opera community, and he was a beloved member of The Young and the Restless family,” said Y&R star Jess Walton in an IG post today. “I had the pleasure of being his scene partner for many years. I adored working with him.”

The post then tosses to a 2014 clip featuring Walton’s character Jill excoriating Rogers’ Atkinson by calling him a “thug and a pain in my rear.” Ah, soaps.

Walton ends the IG tribute by saying “We will miss you, Tristan, and your remarkable performance as Colin Atkinson.”

In July, it was revealed that Rogers had been diagnosed with cancer.
