Troye Sivan invites us to his Paris Fashion Week launch event

Earlier this month, Troye Sivan hosted an intimate evening of food, wine and music during Paris Fashion Week in collaboration with Penfolds. Taking place at Quartier Général, a local hotspot in the 11th arrondissement, the global launch event was in celebration of the star’s new role as Penfolds Creative Partner and his first limited-edition product, Bin 389 Designed by Troye Sivan, with the wine brand.

“Penfolds and I share a passion for culture and shaping moments that become lasting memories. Together, we aspire to produce catalysts for connection,” says Sivan. “This event was a real-life example of that, an opportunity for me to connect some of my favourite people from around the world, to enjoy beautiful food and some of my favourite Penfolds wines.”

From Sivan debuting his own photo installation to the finest French cuisine and a listening bar afterparty – below is everything that went down.

Upon arrival, guests were immediately greeted with cocktails under a cascading installation of photographs curated from Troye’s personal camera roll. Guests in attendance included it-girls and some of fashion’s hottest names, including Gabriette, Fai Khadra, Tish Weinstock, Marc Forne, Lila Moss, Isa Briones, Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Jake Fleming.

It wouldn’t be Paris Fashion Week without an evening of the capital’s finest cuisine – this time, it was courtesy of Australian-born chef James Henry, of acclaimed gourmet restaurant Le Doyenné, whose menu included seasonal French ingredients, paired with some of Penfolds’ most popular wines, no less. Highlights included Roscoff onion tart with wild mushrooms paired with Penfolds Yattarna Chardonnay 2023 and Kriaxera duck with preserved redcurrants and scorzonera, served alongside Sivan’s very own Bin 389 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz.

Anyone who’s had a look at Troye’s Architectural Digest house tour can agree the star has a keen eye for design, having launched his very own product and fragrance line in 2023, Tsu Lange Yor. It was therefore no surprise to see his careful curation of furniture and styling across the evening, which unfolded across three designed spaces, in collaboration with We Are Ona’s Luca Pronzato.

Taking centre stage was, of course, the debut of two limited-edition products: Bin 389 Designed by Troye Sivan 750ml and a 1.5L magnum art piece, both showcasing wine from the 2023 vintage. The highlight was a limited-edition magnum handcrafted by South Korean artist Rahee Yoon. With only 20 pieces available, it’s already a collector’s must.

The evening closed with an afterparty where 100 friends and creators enjoyed DJ Charlotte playing a curated selection of vinyls from Paris’ iconic listening bar, Bambino.

Bin 389, designed by Troye Sivan, is available globally from March 2026.
