Vice President of Al-Azhar University: University media graduates carry the slogan of moderation

Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirmed that its graduates are distinguished by the Faculty of Mass Communication at Al-Azhar University as being media professionals who carry the slogan of moderation and tolerance, which they were brought up in their Al-Azhar study of Islamic ethics.
He pointed out that the Al-Azhar media professional possesses qualities that distinguish him from others. his counterparts; Among them: mastery of the Arabic language, and his familiarity with an Islamic culture that enables him to bear the responsibility of the word that raises the status of the nation.
The Vice President of Al-Azhar University pointed out the seriousness of the word in Islam, stressing that the word is given a great status by Islam, as it may raise its owner in degrees or bring him down, as it is not just a voice spoken, but rather responsibility and honesty. The Qur’anic and Prophetic directives warn against loosening one’s tongue without thinking, abstaining from backbiting and gossiping, and avoiding words that lead to strife and enmity. The efforts of the Sixth International Conference of the Faculty of Media at Al-Azhar University in emphasizing the building of mankind, as building mankind is a function towards which the media must carry out its duty day and night.
The statements of Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of Al-Azhar University, came during his speech that he delivered today, in the opening session of the Sixth International Conference of the Faculty of Media under the title: "Preaching Media and Building Humanity", which is held at the Center Al-Azhar International Conference Center in Nasr City, under the patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Dr. Salama Daoud, President of Al-Azhar University, Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Reda Abdel-Wajed Amin, Dean of the Faculty of Information, Dr. Abdel-Radi Hamdi, and Dr. Sameh Abdel-Ghani, the two deans of the college.
