The forces participating in the joint training “Medusa-14” arrived At the military naval and air bases in the Arab Republic of Egypt during the past days, training activities began, which will continue for several days within the scope of the Mediterranean theater of operations, the Mohamed Naguib military base, and a number of military air bases, with the participation of elements from the land, naval, and air forces, and the Egyptian, Greek, Cypriot, Saudi, and French special forces, in addition to the participation of “12” Another State as an observer.
During the opening ceremony, Major General A.H. Sherif Al-Araishi, Head of the Armed Forces Training Authority, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Lieutenant General Abdul Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces for the forces participating in the training, stressing that the training is a promising opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about everything new in modern military tactics. In a way that enhances military cooperation and supports joint work efficiently and competently.
Following the opening ceremony, the leaders of the participating countries inspected an exhibition of weapons and equipment planned to be used during the various stages of training.
